2) Some Considerations in Management of Pigmentary Glaucoma
Author Details: Duong Dieu MD, Ph.D-Faculty of Medicine Nguyen Tat Thanh University-300A Nguyen Tat Thanh Street-  HCM City- Vietnam. duongdieumd@gmail.com; duongdieumd@ntt.edu.vn.
Abstract:
Patients with disperse pigmentation syndrome (DPS) and intraocular pressure should be treated before switching to pigmentary glaucoma (PG) and causing optic damage.  DPS is characterized by excessive pigment liberation throughout the anterior segment/ iris of the eye. In medical treatment: acetazolamide is the drug of the first choice because it does not cause spasms. Surgical treatment should be done in the case really needed with intraocular did not normalize for a long time as well as the cause of PG. Examination of the peripheral retina in patients with DPS and PG is very important to detect degeneration requiring treatment. This paper noted some consideration on classification and management of pigmentary glaucoma
Key words: Pigmentation syndrome, pigmentary glaucoma, Dapiprazole, YAG laser, retinal detachment

3) Lens Aberration and Multifocal Iols Characteristic Appearance by Bio-Microscopy
Author Details: Duong Dieu MD, PhD-Faculty of Medicine Nguyen Tat Thanh University-300A Nguyen Tat Thanh Street-HCM City- Vietnam. duongdieumd@gmail.com, duongdieumd@ntt.edu.vn.

Abstract:
The IOL manufacturing process of different brands is not the same and it is recommended to use the same brand IOL for both eyes. Useful vision after cataract surgery and implantation of intraocular lens (IOL) depends on surgical techniques, measurement of refractive parameters as well as adaptation of the patient. (neural adaptation). Multifocal or progressive lenses, if used prior to cataract surgery, are relatively more adaptable. Results of visual acuity after IOL implantation surgery depends on surgical techniques, on setting the correct refraction first and then the quality of the IOL after, lastly  on adaptation of the patient (neural adaptation). Identification of multifocal IOLs through bio microscopy is essential for both doctors and patients in using it. The objective of this paper is to note some characteristics of lens aberrations, and multifocal IOLs characteristic appearance by bio microscopy in order to choose, to confirm.
Key words:
lens aberrations, implantation of intraocular lens (IOL), multifocal IOLs, IOLs characteristic appearance.

Abstract:
Herd immunity (also called herd effect, community immunity, population immunity, or mass immunity) is a form of indirect protection from infectious disease that can occur with some diseases when a sufficient proportion of the population has become immune to infection due to previous infection or vaccination. Herd immunity reduces the chance of infection for people who lack immunity. Immune individuals are unlikely to contribute to disease transmission, break chains of infection, or stop or slow the spread of disease. The greater the proportion of immune individuals in the community, the smaller the probability that non-immune individuals will come into contact with an infectious individual. Herd immunity to covid 19 is still challenging. As the wave of covid 19 vaccination in many countries begins to be successful, the concept of herd immunity is being underestimated under close scrutiny. Through this article, we review the history, challenges and measures with herd immunity of Covid 19 to hopefully overcome the pandemic in the future.

Abstract:
Evidence-based medicine (EBM) is as important as it is in developing countries as well as in developed countries as one of the ways in which the problems of health and knowledge poverty can be reduced, contributing to a sustainable life. Medical ethics (ME) is an ethics in the practice of clinical medicine and scientific research based on a set of values that professionals can refer to in the event of any confusion. Confusion and conflict are particularly relevant in decisions regarding involuntary treatment and involuntary commitment. The understanding of COVID-19 disease and the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine is limited due to the urgency of the pandemic, so this vaccine selection is the challenges. This article reviews the challenges of selecting a SARS-CoV-2 vaccine based on medical ethics and evidence-based medicine to contribute to the balance of effectiveness in tackling the pandemic.
